Spartan Men Roll Past Washington (Md.) on Saturday

YORK, PA – The York College men's swim team picked up their fourth straight dual meet win as the Spartans raced past Washington (Md.) 151-98 in a non-conference meet on Saturday afternoon in York. The Spartans improve to 4-2 overall while the Shoremen fall to 2-5 with the loss.

Sophomore All-American Keven Stahl earned three more wins while Jesse Tate and Tyler Maggio each earned a pair of individual wins.

Sophomore Keven Stahl leads the Spartans with 17 individual wins as he won the 1,000 and 500 free in addition to the 200 IM … Stahl has won three events in each of the last three Spartan meets and he has won multiple events in all six of York's meets for the year … junior Tyler Maggio earned two wins on Saturday as he now has five for the campaign … Maggio has now posted a pair of two win days as he also won two events at St. Mary's on November 3 … junior Jesse Tate earned a pair of wins as he now has four victories for the season … freshman Miles Brown picked up his first collegiate win as he was victorious in the 50 free on Saturday.

The Spartans are now off until Saturday, January 19 when they head to Frostburg State University for a Capital Athletic Conference dual meet in Frostburg, Maryland. It will be the last time the Spartans and Bobcats meet as conference opponents as the Bobcats are leaving the CAC at the end of the academic year.
