
SELINSGROVE, PA – The York College men's soccer team got a Zion Friday goal with just under 15 minutes left to post a 2-1 non-conference win at Susquehanna on Saturday afternoon in Selinsgrove, PA. The win gives York their second victory in their last three games. The game also closes out York's non-conference schedule for 2019.

How It Happened:
• The Spartans notched the only first half goal as Ali Demiri found the back of the net in the 40th minute of the game. Demiri scored off a pass from Isiah Dorsey who notched his first assist of the year.
• York outshot the River Hawks 8-6 in the first half and York was more on target as six of their shots were on cage while Susquehanna had just one chance on goal.
• The River Hawks tied the game in the 58th minute as Kyle Trainor recorded his second goal of the year. His goal was unassisted.
• York got their game-winner in the 76th minute as Zion Friday scored off a feed from Keith Witherell to give the Spartans the win.
