The York College athletic department is proud to announce that David Boslough has been selected as the full-time golf coach after a national search. Boslough will be the head coach for both the men’s and women’s varsity programs at York.
For the first time ever, York led the CAC with the highest percentage of student-athlete selections to the All-Academic Team, in addition to also having the highest total number of selections in the conference.
The York College golf team finished out the 2016 Capital Athletic Conference Golf Championship in fourth place out of seven teams competing at the Bay Creek Resort Nicklaus Course in Sunday’s final round. Freshman Tyler Newton led York through all three rounds and earned a First Team All-CAC selection as he placed sixth overall with a total score of 238 to finish 22 strokes over par.
The York College golf team moved up to third place after round two of the 2016 Capital Athletic Conference Championship at the Bay Creek Resort Nicklaus Course on Saturday after recording a team score of 328, improving 12 strokes from the day before. The Spartans have a team score of 668 through two rounds.

The York College golf squad put together a strong performance at the Alvernia Spring Invitational on Tuesday afternoon at Ledgerock Golf Club in Mohnton, PA. York finished second of nine teams in the one-day tournament.

The York College golf team came roaring back on day two of the Bay Creek Invitational on Tuesday to capture second place with a total team score of 627 on the Nicklaus Course at the Bay Creek Golf Resort.
