Jenna LoBianco
Title: Asst. Cross Country Coach

Jenna (Gormley) LoBianco joined the cross country coaching staff in the fall of 2013. In her first year of working predominantly with the women’s team, she saw a season littered with success. She was able to help the women’s team achieve the program’s first 1-2 finish at the CAC Championship meet, as well as a very close second place finish as a team. The success of the team continued as the women placed 8th as a team at regionals, becoming the first Women’s Cross Country team to place in the top ten at NCAA Regionals. She also was able to help coach Jess Miller to earn All-Region accolades and become the first female in York history to compete at NCAA Cross Country Nationals.

In her second year working with the women’s team, LoBianco guided two women to earn All-Region accolades for the first time in school history through Jess Miller and Caroline DeLany. Miller also qualified for the NCAA Championships where she placed 112th.

During her third year, LoBianco was able to help guide the women to a 2nd place team placement at the CAC Championships, while seeing Alicia Dillman win the individual title and Jess DelViscio earn the Rookie of the Year award. This was only the third time that a York athlete has won an individual CAC title and only the third Rookie of the Year for the Spartans.

LoBianco is a 2009 Shippensburg University graduate with a double major of Marketing and Management who competed for the Red Raiders. She brings a great love of running to the staff. She continues to compete in events after college. She owns a 5K PR of 18:22, a 10K PR of 38:55, and a personal best of 1:28 in a half marathon.
