2011: Finished 60th with a time of 17:38 at the Galen E. Piper XC Challenge . . . posted a time of 22:26.60 during the Dutchmen XC Invite at Lebanon Valley College . . . crossed the finish line in 12th place with a time of 25:31.80 at the Coach Achtzehn Classic . . . ran 27:32 during the Dickinson Invitational . . . placed 27th and ran 27:52.96 during the CAC Championships . . . finished at 26:31 at the NCAA DIII Mideast Regionals.
2010: Did not run with the cross country squad . . . did compete with the track team in the spring of 2011.
Personal: Is a graphic design major and an advertising minor . . . has a 3.64 cumulative GPA . . . a three-time member of the Dean’s List . . . the daughter of Michael and Sarah Berninger . . . born on June 5, 1992 . . . names her mom as the person she most admires . . . hobbies include 4-H, showing sheep, and art . . . chose York because "it has a great graphic design program" . . . lists her most significant athletic achievements as making the Delaware state meet while in high school as well as breaking 2:30 in the 800 meters . . . most memorable moment while with the Spartan program is being part of the squad and placing second as a team at the 2011 CAC Women's Track & Field Championships.
