The York College volleyball squad post a come-from-behind victory 3-2 victory over Messiah College in the season opener Wednesday night in Grantham, PA. The set scores were 18-25, 20-25, 25-18, 25-15, and 15-10.

The 2010 edition of the York College volleyball squad enters the campaign in a bit of an unfamiliar position. The usually youthful Spartans have three seniors and three juniors that will each be expected to play key roles on a team that has won 67 matches over the last three seasons.

Spartan Hall of Fame Grows by Three
The York College Athletic Hall of Fame will grow by three as Jill Crouse-Wolf, Chris Showers, and Michael Jackson will be inducted into the prestigious fraternity on Saturday, May 1 at Charles Wolf Gymnasium. The 1998 Men’s Soccer team will also be honored by the College as they were the first team in program history to win a Capital Athletic Conference championship.
