There were six more ties before the Spartans captured the final two points of the set, tying the match at one game each.
The third game was almost carbon copy of the first. After a tight opening portion of the set, the Green Terror pushed out to a 15-10 lead. The Spartans battled back to get within one at 15-14 but the Green Terror went on a 10-6 run to capture the 25-20 set win.
The fourth set was not nearly as close as the Green Terror raced out to a six point margin at 9-3. York closed the gap to three at 15-12 but the Green Terror ripped off a five-point run and York would not get closer than six points the rest of the way.
