2010: Enters her junior year looking to stay healthy after a sophomore year that saw her be hampered by a foot injury . . . is a very good all around player that has continued to improve offensively . . . is a good athlete that does a good job defensively . . . is a strong hitter that has a tremendous attitude and exceptional work ethic . . . is one of the Spartans’ better servers as she owns a career service percentage of 91.5% . . . has accumulated 250 kills, 470 digs, and 37 service aces in her 188 career sets played.
2009: Played in 32 of the Spartans’ 34 matches including 30 starts . . . was hampered by a foot injury most of the season which she played through . . . finished the campaign with 143 kills, good for an average of 1.23 kills per set . . . hit .124 for the year in 458 attempts . . . served at 91.9% in her 310 attempts with 14 service aces . . . finished with a serve receive percentage of 87.5% in her 471 attempts . . . played well defensively with 318 digs, good for an average of 2.74 . . . completed the season with 167 points as she averaged 1.44 points per set.
2008: Saw action in 28 matches, earning a start in 15 of those contests . . . accumulated 106 kills, 151 digs, 23 service aces, and 139.5 points per set . . . averaged 1.47 kills, 2.10 digs, 0.32 aces, and 1.94 points per set for the Spartans as a freshman . . . served at a 91.3% with 23 service aces . . . was outstanding in serve receive as she owned a 92% rate in 274 attempts while she also had 20 blocks for the year.
Personal: Is a graphic design major with a marketing minor and is the daughter of Dee and Nita Coombs . . . is another one of the Spartans’ good students as she sports a 3.22 cumulative GPA . . . earned a spot on both the CAC All-Academic squad and the York College Athletic Honor Roll as a sophomore . . . played for the Charles County club program.
