2010: Begins her third season sporting the Green and White as a Spartan co-captain . . . will battle for the starting libero role while she will also see significant time as a back-row specialist . . . is an intelligent player that has the knack for making the right play and putting herself in the correct position on the floor . . . provides York with great leadership as she will play a key role in keeping the Spartans focused and prepared . . . has worked very hard in the off season and is extremely prepared for her senior year.
2009: Saw action in 28 of the Spartans’ 32 matches, coming off the bench in all her appearances . . . played a key role in the Spartans’ defense as she saw all her time as a back row specialist . . .finished the season with 178 digs, good for an average of 1.80 . . . had a serve receive percentage of .899 in 228 attempts which was the top mark on the Spartan squad . . . was also one of York’s top servers as she had 17 aces in 145 attempts while her service percentage was .869.
2008: Transferred into the program and played in 16 matches in her first year in the Green and White, coming off the bench in each of those matches . . . finished the season with 70 digs, good for an average of 1.63 digs per set . . . Was very good in serve receive for York as she made just six errors in her 77 attempts, finishing with a reception percentage of .922 . . . was one of York’s top servers as she owned a .940 service percentage, banging out 10 aces in 133 attempts.
Personal: Is the daughter of Max and Carol Arentz . . . is an elementary education major and carries a 3.66 cumulative GPA . . . Arentz is a two-time CAC All-Academic selection while she has also earned York College Athletic Honor Roll accolades the previous two seasons . . . played for the Smackdown Volleyball Club.
