Heather Toth returns to the Spartan lineup for her sophomore year after missing 2008 due to knee injury. Toth is a very competitive player that played in all 36 matches as a freshman in 2007. She hit .162 with 1.39 kills per set. Toth also averaged 0.58 blocks and 1.76 points per set. She is a very competitive player and has the potential to be a dominate front row player for the green and White. Toth will likely see most of her time as a right side hitter in 2009.
