Cortni Rentzel begins her sophomore year switching positions as she moves from being a setter to playing libero. Rentzel had a good freshman year as she saw action in all 34 matches, starting 27 of those contests. Rentzel averaged 5.31 assists per set while she also averaged 2.14 digs per set. She is a very aggressive player that has great lateral quickness. Rentzel is a vocal leader that will compete for the starting libero job in 2009.
