YORK, Pa. – Senior runner Mandy Parshall was named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week as the York College women's track & field squad picks up yet another CAC weekly honor. This marks the fifth time this season that a Spartan has garnered a weekly conference award and Parshall's second of the year.
Parshall, who has had a tremendous senior year, competed in a pair of races last Saturday at Shippensburg's Paul Kaiser Classic. She set two school records in the 5,000- and 3,000-meter races. Parshall finished the 5,000-meter race in 18:46.44, a half minute faster than her time at the CAC championship-winning mark, taking second at the Kaiser Classic. Additionally, the senior's 3K record came by way of a 10:56.32 finish.
