YORK, PA - After a strong 2009 campaign, York College senior women's tennis player Megan Logan (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) has been selected to the All-Capital Athletic Conference singles second team as announced by the league office Wednesday afternoon.
Logan posted a career year as a senior, proving a steady performer for the Green and White. She tallied a solid 9-5 record in singles play this year, York's top record of the 2009 season.
"We are ecstatic that Megan received this honor," head coach Ryan Weber said. "She played exceptionally well for us this year, especially in singles play. Megan was able to put it all together this year and it showed on the court."
Logan played a majority of her matches in the #5 slot this season, totaling a record of 5-2 from that position. She also went 3-3 as York's #4 while capturing her lone match in the third slot.
