2010-11: At the CAC championships, recorded season-best times of 2:08.85 in the 200 free, a 1:04.44 in the 100 backstroke, and a 2:18.58 in the 200 backstroke … part of York's third-place finishing 800 freestyle relay squad (8:19.33) at the CAC Championships ... notched times of 6:02.78 in the 500 free and a 30.99 in the 50 backstroke at the Ursinus meet on January 15.

2009-10: In her sophomore year, Kathy swam season best in the 200 free and 200 back. In the 200 free she swam to a 2:09.00. In the 200 back She swam to a 2:15.93 and placed 7th and CAC championships. She was also the backstroke leg of the 5th placing 200 medley relay.

Personal: Is a secondary education - general science major ... is the daughter of Tom and Mary Murphy ... born on March 1, 1990 ... swam on the club level for the YMCA of Western Monmouth County ... holds the 200 backstroke and held the 800 freestyle relay recordfor her club squad ... names Chelsea Ross as the person she most admires ... chose York because "it was pretty and the pool is nice" ... her most significant athletic achievement is "holding records for my club team" ... lists her most memorable athletic moment as "making final in the 200 backstroke" at the 2010 Capital Athletic Conference Championships ... after graduation she plans on teaching high school students.
