2010-11: Embarks on her sophomore campaign as one of York's top young swimmers ... will provided York will quality in the buttefly and backstroke ... possesses the strength to compete in difficult events ... both bold in the water and supportive of her Spartan teammates ... her hard work should allow her to push toward the top of the conference.

2009-10: In her rookie season, Amanda swam to season bests in the 200 backstroke and 100 and 200 butterfly. In the 200 backstroke she swam to a 2:25.08, in the 100 butterfly she swam a 1:04.45, and in the 200 butterfly she swam a 2:24.41.

Personal: Is a recreation and leisure administration major ... is the daughter of Mark and Arlene Silcox ... born on January 10, 1991 ... swam on the club level for the Lebanon Valley Otters ... names her high school swim coach, Mary Gardner, as the person she most admires ... hobbies include listening to music ... chose York because she liked the College's campus ... her most memorable athletic moment at York was meeting teammate Meg Dailey.
