Tom Esler joins the York College women's soccer staff following the 2011 campaign, bringing exceptional coaching experience to the Spartan squad. Most recently, Esler was a three-year assistant for Division I Delaware State University. Prior to his time at Delaware State, he served for five seasons as an assistant at Division III Wittenberg University.

A consumate student of the game, he brings a detail-oriented style to the Spartan sideline. Esler possesses an outstanding knowledge of the game, beginning with the goalkeeper and through the attack, which should help the Green and White develop.

Esler holds a USSF National license and was the Director of Coaching for a large club in Maryland. He also served with the Maryland ODP program.

Esler lives in York with his wife Vendla and has four grown sons.
