• The Seahawks finally broke free as Alex Moody used her head to pass the ball back outside the 18-yard-box off a cross from the right wing and the ball landed at the foot of Zoe Smedley who blasted a shot into the far left corner to give the Seahawks a 1-0 lead in the 62nd minute.
• York had a few promising scoring opportunities late but were just unable to find the back of the net and fell short 1-0.
