York College senior women's goalie Sarah Spanarkel is the latest Spartan to be featured in the Capital Athletic Conference Introducing feature.

Late Goal Lifts F&M to Win Over Spartans
Franklin & Marshall’s Selena Boro made her first goal of the year a game-winner as her Diplomats earned a 3-2 non-conference victory over the York College Spartans in a non-conference contest at a chilly Graham Field in York on Sunday.

Spartans Fall to Tartans in Radisson Inn Second Round
The York College women’s soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision to Carnegie Mellon in the second round of the Radisson Invitational on Sunday afternoon in Pittsburgh. The Spartans fall to 0-4 for the campaign while the Tartans improve to 2-2 for the year.

Spanarkel Outstanding but Spartans Fall to Allegheny
The York College women’s soccer team opened their stay at the Carnegie Mellon Radisson Invitational with a 1-0 loss to Allegheny College on a stormy night in Pittsburgh. The Spartans fall to 0-3 with the setback while the Gators improve to 3-1 overall.

Spartans Play Strong Second Half but Fall to Misericordia
The York College women’s soccer played a solid game but dropped a 1-0 decision against Misericordia University in a non-conference contest on humid Sunday afternoon in York. The Spartans are now 0-2 while the Cougars improve to 1-1.

2011 York College Women's Soccer Season Preview
The York College 2011 women’s soccer campaign opens much differently than it has over the last four years. Gone are any ties to the 2007 Capital Athletic Conference champions or the NCAA Sweet 16 team. That suits Spartan head coach Vicki Sterner just fine.

Fall Teams Kick off 2011 Preseason
York College welcomed back its fall sports athletes on Friday as practices started for the 2011 fall season. The women’s soccer, field hockey and volleyball squads started practice Friday morning. Men’s Soccer begins training on Saturday followed by cross country on Sunday.
