2010: Enters her senior year looking to thrust herself into a key role in the Spartan rotation . . . had a very good spring season, giving her a boost of confidence . . . is a player who has worked hard to make herself into a factor in the Spartan rotation . . . has played in 56 career games, scoring three points on a goal and an assist.
2009: Played in all 20 of the Spartans’ matches including drawing a start in the October 24 win over Wesley . . . had her lone point of the year with an assist in the November 1 Capital Athletic Conference first round win over Wesley . . . attempted 12 shots during the year with three of those chances coming on target.
2008: Played in 19 of York’s 20 games including three starts . . . did not register a point during the year . . . had eight shots for the season with three of those attempts being on goal.
2007: Made an appearance in 17 of the Spartans’ 24 matches during their run to the Division III Sweet 16 . . . scored her first collegiate goal in her first collegiate game, finding the back of the net in the September 2 win over McDaniel . . . recorded two shots for the year.
Personal: Is the daughter of Mark Nechay and Marianne Nechay . . . is a nursing major . . . plays her club soccer for Independence Punishers . . . owns a 3.32 cumulative GPA . . . has earned CAC All-Academic team accolades twice and YCP Athletic Honor Roll honors in three years as a Spartans.
