Desiree Halaka returns to the Spartan squad for her sophomore campaign. An extremely hard-working goalkeeper, Halaka has made huge strides in her play with a great off season. Last season Halaka appeared in nine Spartan contests, drawing a trio of starts. In her 441 minutes, she posted a goals against mark of 0.82 including one shutout. The experience she gained in 2007 combined with the great technical improvements put Halaka in position to compete for the Spartans #1 spot this year.
