CAC Champs Heading to Richard Stockton
The York College women's soccer team will travel to Richard
Stockton College in Pomona, NJ for their first appearance in the
NCAA tournament. The Spartans will face the host Ospreys in the
tournament's opening game on Saturday, November 10 at 1:00 pm. The
winner of that first round game advances to face the winner of the
second first round game featuring Virginia Wesleyan and Johns
Hopkins. That second game will be held on Saturday at 3:30 pm. The
two winners will square off on Sunday in the regional championship.
Game time is scheduled for 2:00 pm.
The NCAA tournament apperance is the first for the Spartan women's
soccer team. The green and white earned the Capital Athletic
Conference's automatic berth after their 2-0 victory over Salisbury
University in the CAC championship game on Saturday.
