The College Sports Information Directors’ Association selected Sullivan to the third team after she helped lead York to the best season in school history.

The York College men’s and women’s soccer teams received good news on Tuesday evening as both squads are nationally ranked in the newly released d3kicks.com preseason poll. The Spartan men are second in the country behind the defending national champion Messiah College Falcons while the women are ranked 25th.

2007 Women's Soccer Preview
“That which does not kill us only serves to make us stronger.” The York College women’s soccer team had a spectacular 2006 season but fell short of their stated goal of a Capital Athletic Conference championship after winning the regular season CAC title. The green and white fell in the conference semifinals in penalty kicks, another heartbreaking finish. While the result was hard-to-swallow, it has reinforced a resolve in the 2007 squad that will lead them into the upcoming campaign.
