2010-11: Enters the season looking to compete for time at 133 pounds … local product from nearby Northeastern High School … has the potential to push for a starting role … good on his feet … continues to make improvements … quality abilities both on the mat and in classroom make him a candidate for Scholar All-American honors.
2009-10: Posted five wins for the Green and White, wrestling mainly at 133 pounds … went 1-2 at the Monarch Invitational to open the season … drew his first start of the year against McDaniel on November 11 … snagged his first dual meet triumph in his next start with a 21-3 technical fall against Scranton … won a tight 3-1 match over Muhlenberg on December 12 at the York College Quad.
2008-09: Went 1-6 for the Spartans in seven matches during his rookie campaign … made his collegiate debut at the Spartan Invitational on December 6 … first dual meet start came on February 7 against Elizabethtown at 141 pounds.
Personal: Is a mid-level education major ... son of Jeff and Sue Wagner ... born on January 1, 1989 ... names his brother as the person he most admires ... hobbies include jet-skiing and snowboarding ... chose York because of the "education program, wrestling team, friends close to home" ... lists his most significant athletic achievement as notching a "come back victory, 5-1, in the last 12 seconds to qualify for districts" ... after graduation he plans on finding a job and traveling.
