2010-11: Begins his sophomore campaign looking to continue his tremendous development from last season … gained valuable experience as a regular starter for the Spartans during his freshman year … will move up a weight to 149 pounds … uses an unorthodox style which allows him to get into positive scoring positions … spent significant time in the weight room this summer … has added quality weight to his frame … could post a very successful sophomore season.

2009-10: Posted quality mat time for the Spartans in just his freshman season … finished the year with a 9-12 mark … wrestled mainly at 141 pounds … saw his first collegiate action at the Monarch Invitational, registering a 1-2 mark at the tournament … wrestled his first dual meet match against McDaniel on November 11 … at the Spartan Invitational on December 5, recorded a 3-2 mark … dropped his first match at the Spartan Invitational but then won his next three … picked up a win at the North/South Duals on January 9 … collected a tight 2-0 victory against #4 Ithaca’s Junior Amazan at the Budd Whitehill Duals on January 15 … ended up going 3-1 at the Whitehill Duals … won again when York returned home on January 23 to face Kings, with a 9-3 decision … was seeded seventh at 141 at his first Metropolitan Conference Championships.
