YORK, PA - York College sophomore midfielder Regan Cook has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.
Cook had a big week for York as the #7 Spartans won three games to extend their win streak to eight.
In the Wednesday win over Frostburg State, Cook tallied six points on three goals and three assists. She notched her three goals on just three shots.
She followed that with five points on four goals and one assist in the 14-12 win over #2 Gettysburg College. Cook went 1-for-1 in free position shots while she also had one ground ball in the win over the Bullets.
In the Saturday win over Southern Virginia, Cook notched three goals including 1-for-1 in free position shots.
For the week, Cook notched 14 points on ten goals and four assists. For the season, Cook has 41 points on 31 goals and 10 assists. She alos has 10 ground balls and three caused turnovers.
