Megan Strauch Named the CAC Defender of the Week

YORK, PA - York College sophomore defender Megan Strauch (Baltimore, Md./Perry Hall) has been named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Week for the week ending April 6 as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Strauch led the Spartans to a pair of wins including a come-from-behind victory over UMW on Saturday. In the Wednesday win over Catholic, Strauch collected four ground balls and forced one Cardinal turnover.

In the win over Mary Washington, Strauch was fantastic as she had four ground balls, three draw controls and four caused turnovers in the Spartans' 12-10 overtime win.

For the season, Strauch has a team-high 27 ground balls, 29 draw controls, and 14 caused turnovers.
