Katie Vautier Named CAC Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Week
York College senior captain Katie Vautier was named the Capital Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Defender of the Week as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Vautier led the ninth-ranked Spartans to a season-opening win at Goucher on Saturday to earn the award.
Vautier notched five draw controls and forced three turnovers in the Saturday win over the Gophers. Vautier also had a ground ball as the Spartans only allowed six goals before she left the game in the big win.
