2011: Played in 16 of 17 games ... started in eight contests as a rookie … picked up 11 ground balls … grabbed four draw controls … caused five turnovers.
Personal: Is an early childhood and special education major … is the daughter of Tony and Sandy Soroka … born on July 12, 1992 … played club lacrosse for SP LAX … was a second-team All-County defensive selection in high school ... received the Scholar Athlete Award … was named a captain for her senior year of high school … names her parents as the people she most admires … hobbies include working out and watching the Baltimore Ravens … favorite athlete is Cristiano Ronaldo … chose York because it is “close to home and the women’s lacrosse program” … her most significant athletic achievement is being selected to the All-County second-team and becoming a collegiate student-athlete … her most memorable athletic moment while at York is "traveling to St. Croix with the entire team in Feb. and collecting two wins" during the 2011 season … after graduation she plans on becoming a teacher and attending graduate school to obtain her master’s degree.
