• York started well, opening up an early 5-2 lead after a long ball from Katie Wagner. Wagner, in fact, scored the first eight points of the game for the Spartans, just two days after Sam Mocniak scored York's first 11 against PSU-Harrisburg. Leading 13-11 with 3:29 to play, York finished on a 6-2 run, including a layup from Katie McGowan with two seconds to play in the period.

• The Spartans continued that 6-0 run at the end of the first with another 12-2 run to open the second. Wagner scored the first bucket before Morgan Kuehne converted four consecutive baskets, including one three pointer to push York to a 31-15 lead. The Sea Gulls stormed back in the latter stages of the quarter, going on a 10-2 run to close within 34-27. But, the Green and White finished out the half in tremendous fashion, beginning with a long ball from Wagner, and then a steal and layup for Mocniak to give York a 39-27 halftime advantage.

• McGowan knocked down two free throws and a layup to open the second half, as York still led by double digits three minutes into the second half. After McGowan earned a bucket and the foul, the Spartans led by 15 at the halfway point of the third. From there, though, Salisbury finished the quarter on a 14-2 run to close within 51-48 at the end of the quarter.

• Both teams traded buckets to open the final quarter, but Salisbury tied the game at 55-55 with 6:30 to play. The Sea Gulls would eventually take the lead 59-58, their first lead since 10-8, and never looked back. York managed just three points in the final 5:55 as Salisbury came back to win 64-61.
