How It Happened:

The York lead bounced back and forth between four and six points before York settled for a 16-12 lead after one quarter of play. York couldn't capitalize on sloppy play by the Lions as Harrisburg had nine first quarter turnovers. The Spartans got just six points off those nine miscues.

• The second quarter was far more offensive as both squad settled in. The Spartans used an early 11-2 run to push out to a 27-16 lead just three minutes into the stanza. The Lions cut the York lead to four at 34-30 with 1:08 left in the quarter. York got a Kayla Ferris three and a pair of Katie Wagner free throws to increase the lead back to nine with 19 seconds left. Tessa Dolce hit a lay up with 15 seconds left in the half as York took a 38-32 lead to the break.

• The third quarter proved to provide the breathing room that the Spartans needed as York outscored the Lions 19-9 in the quarter. After Harrisburg cut the York lead to five at the 5:12 mark, the Spartans ended the quarter with a 15-3 run as they took a 58-41 lead to the fourth.

• The fourth quarter saw the Spartans maintain their lead in double figures. York pushed the lead to as many as 19 before settling for the 16-point win.
