YORK, PA – Plans have been finalized for the York College women’s basketball Sweet 16 trip to Rochester, N.Y. on Friday and Saturday. The Spartans will face off against the University of Scranton in the first game Friday night with the action tipping off at 6:00 pm. The second game features the College of New Jersey and the host University of Rochester Yellow Jackets. That game will tip at 8:00 pm or 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Spartans’ game against Scranton. The two Friday night winners will square off on Saturday night at 7:00 pm with a trip to the NCAA Division III Final Four in Holland, Mich.

Tickets for York’s game on Friday can be reserved on Tuesday and Wednesday (9 am to 5 pm) through the York College Athletic Department. Interested fans can contact department administrative assistant Maureen Crouse, either by phone at 717-815-1780, or via email at mcrouse@ycp.edu to reserve tickets.The ticket limit for each individual is six tickets. The Spartan athletic department will cut off reservations on Wednesday at 5:00 pm. The tickets will then be available at the University of Rochester ticket window inside the Louis Alexander Palaestra, the site of the tournament, one hour prior to the tip off of the 6:00 pm contest. Tickets are $7.00 for adults and $4.00 for students and senior citizens over age 65.
