2007-2008: Begins her junior year as the top point guard in the Capital Athletic Conference . . . is a dynamic player that makes all her teammates on the floor better  . . . possesses a great knowledge and understanding of the game . . . has an incredible knack for making the right play . . . a great rebounder despite her 5-7 frame . . . will be expected to shoot more during the season . . . the coaches anticipate Ward shooting a higher percentage from the arc . . . is an outstanding free throw shooter who should get to the line more this year.

2006-2007: Improved on her stellar freshman campaign, earning first-team All-Capital Athletic Conference accolades . . . played in 25 games starting 24 of those contests . . . averaged 14.1 points and seven rebounds per game . . . ranked sixth in the CAC in both scoring and rebounding . . . led both the Spartans and the CAC in minutes played with an average of 34.96 . . . shot a blistering 47% from the field and nearly 36% from beyond the arc ranking her fifth and third in the conference respectively . . . her 5.28 assists per game and 1.76 assist-to-turnover ratio were both league-leading statistics . . . was second on the squad with 98 free throw attempts . . . recorded her first collegiate triple-double in the February 8 win over Catholic with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 11 assists . . . tallied 34 points making 12 of her 18 field goal attempts in the January 5 overtime victory against Rowan establishing new career highs in all three categories . . . tied her career-best in assists with 11 on two occasions . . . pulled down 14 rebounds for a new career high in the November 11 win at Goucher . . . ranked in numerous other CAC categories including third in three-pointers made (42), seventh in blocked shots (0.72 per game), and eighth in steals (1.92 per game.)

2005-2006: Had a tremendous freshman year that saw her earn the Capital Athletic Conference Rookie-of-the-Year award, the second straight year a Spartan earned the award . . . also was named to the All-CAC Second Team . . . finished the season averaging 11.1 points, a team-leading 8.3 rebounds, and a team-best 5.4 assists per game . . . played in and started all 27 games for the green and white . . . she handed out 146 total assists and had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 2.1-to-1.0 . . .  played a team-high 34.9 minutes per game . . .  also paced the squad with 54 steals while her 23 three-point field goals were second on the team . . . established a career-high with 24 points in the January 23 win at Elizabethtown . . . drained a career-high four three pointers in the February 15 win against Gallaudet as she went 4-for-4 from distance . . . pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds in the January 25 win at Gallaudet and then matched that total on February 1 at Goucher . . . established a career-high six steals at Rowan on January 7 and did it again two weeks later against Mary Washington . . . blocked three shots in the December 29 win over Susquehanna . . . played 40 minutes or more four times during the year . . . finished the season shooting a team-best 81.1% from the charity stripe . . . finished the season ranked all over the Capital Athletic Conference statistics as she was first in assists, first in assist-to-turnover ratio, second in rebounding, fourth in free throw percentage, fifth in steals, eighth in field goal percentage, tenth in scoring, and eleventh in blocked shots.

Personal: Is the daughter of Marc and Sherri Ward . . . born May 31, 1987 . . . is a Nursing major . . . played for Brian Urig at Oxford Area High School . . . was a 1,000 point scorer in high school, a mark she reached her junior year . . . earned second-team All-SCCL honors as a freshman and then was a first team selection as a sophomore, junior, and senior . . . earned All-Area honors as a junior and again as a senior.
