Karen Carr enters her sophomore year looking to build on a freshman campaign where she made the adjustment to the collegiate game. Carr got into 25 games last year, drawing starts in eight of those contests. She scored six runs and had a pair of doubles in her 25 at-bats last year. She owned a slugging percentage of .320. Carr, who will see most of her time as a reserve outfielder, is one of the Spartans’ top pinch runners as she brings good speed and smart baserunning to the Spartan squad. Carr is an accounting major and is the daughter of David and Peggy Carr.
