Amanda Atieh begins her sophomore year having moved from third base to hold down second base this spring. Atieh was a first-team All-CAC selection last year as she hit .269 with 19 runs scored and 11 RBI. She has very quick feet and hands will strengthen the Spartan defense up the middle. She moves back over the right side of the plate this year where she should have a bigger impact on the Spartan offense in 2008.
