    Spartan Men Capture Third Straight CAC Men's Commissioner's Award For the third consecutive year, the York College Spartans captured the Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Commissioner’s Award as announced by the conference office recently. The Spartans, after winning the award outright in the last two years, shared the title with Salisbury this season as both teams accumulated 86 points for the year.

    Hartung, Spartans Land on USTFCCCA All-Academic List The York College men’s cross country team received great news as sophomore runner Tim Hartung garnered United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association All-Academic honors following his tremendous 2011 campaign. Additionally, the Spartan team nabbed USTFCCCA All-Academic status after posting a cumulative 3.36 grade point average through the fall semester.

    HARTUNG TO NATIONALS! Spartans Take 11th at NCAA Regionals York College men’s cross country sophomore Tim Hartung made program history Saturday, as he is the first Spartan cross country runner to qualify for the NCAA National Championships. On the heels of Hartung’s outstanding performance, the Green and White finished 11th overall out of 47 squads with 338 points.

    Spartans Go 1-2-3, Capture First CAC Men's Cross Country Title For the first time in program history, the York College men’s cross country team captured the Capital Athletic Conference Men’s Cross Country Championship, placing first overall on a snowy afternoon at John Rudy Park in York. Remarkably, the Spartans posted just 24 team points and swept the individual accolades.

    Spartan Men's Cross Country Ranked in Mideast Region The York College men’s cross country team received outstanding news early this week as the Spartans break into the top-ten in the Mideast Region according to the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Currently tied for ninth in the region, this marks the first time in the history of the program that York is ranked among the region’s best.
