Men's Tennis Earns 7-2 Win at Lebanon Valley

ANNVILLE, PA – The York College men's tennis squad picked up their second win of the weekend as they went on the road and defeated Lebanon Valley College 7-2 in a non-conference contest on a beautiful Sunday afternoon in Annville.

1. Ben Sentz def. Blake Martin, 7-5, 6-7, 6-1

6. Tyler Richard def. Ben Hinkley, 8-3

 

Notes

The Spartans improve to 2-0 with a pair of dominating wins on the weekend … York outscored their two opponents by a combined score of 16-2 … Ben Sentz, Lukas Olson, Josiah Forry, and Tyler Richard all went 2-0 in singles play for the weekend … all three Spartan doubles teams went 2-0 … the match is the second of York's seven fall contests.

 

Up Next

The Spartans return to action on Sunday, September 23 when they head to Elizabethtown College to face the Blue Jays in a non-conference contest. The match is slated for a 12:00 pm start.
