Men's Tennis Opens Fall Season with 9-0 Win over Albright

YORK, PA – The York College men's tennis squad opened the fall portion of their 2018 schedule with a 9-0 non-conference win over Albright College on a pleasant Saturday afternoon in York.

The Spartans swept the Lions in convincing fashion as none of the singles matches went past two sets.

Notes

The win kicks off a seven match fall schedule for the Spartans … York only has two of their seven matches at home in the fall … York graduated just one player from their rotation in Devin Lehigh … Senior Sam Innerst earned his 21st career singles win as he is the active Spartan leader in the category … Juniors Ben Sentz and Joel Hess each earned his 15th career singles win on Saturday.

The Spartans head out on the road on Sunday when they travel to Lebanon Valley College for a non-conference contest. The match is slated for a 1:00 pm start.
