Ben Sentz Named the CAC Men's Tennis Player of the Week

YORK, PA - York College freshman men's tennis player Ben Sentz was named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week as announced by the league office on Tuesday. 

Sentz went 3-0 in singles play and 3-0 in doubles play as the Spartans have made a late season surge to earn a berth in the CAC Semifinal round. 
Sentz began his week with 6-3, 6-0 second singles win over Rafael Fernandes in the win over PSU Harrisburg on Tuesday. He also combined with Tyler Richard to notch an 8-6 second doubles win. 
Sentz followed that with a 6-0, 6-1 second singles win over Aaron Beckner in the Spartans' 8-1 win over Frostburg State which earned York a spot in the CAC Tournament. He again teamed with Richard to record an 8-1 second doubles win for York.
Sentz closed out the week with a 2-6, 6-1, 6-0 win over SVU's TJ Snelson in the opening round of the Capital Athletic Conference championships at Southern Virginia. Sentz teamed with Sam Price to earn an 8-2 second doubles victory as York defeated the Knights 5-3. 
For the season, Sentz is now 7-6 with all his singles matches coming at the second position.
