SALISBURY, Md. – The York College men's tennis team fell to #23 Salisbury 9-0 Saturday afternoon in Salisbury, Md. The loss drops the Spartans' 2010-2011 mark to 4-2 while they open up their Capital Athletic Conference slate at 0-1. The Sea Gulls improve to 3-2 on the season.

Ryan Harvey, the reigning CAC Men's Tennis Player-of-the-week, and Justin Hostetter put up a solid match in third doubles. Up against Giorgio Athans and Curtis Quandt, the Spartans managed to keep the match close but did fall 8-6.

In singles play, Philip Myers narrowly fell in the first set of his fourth singles match 7-6 (7-2) but was unable to garner any momentum as he lost to Daniel Barnas in the second set 6-1.
