ST. MARY'S CITY, MD – The York College men's swimming squad remained in second place after day two of the 2018 Capital Athletic Conference championships at St. Mary's College in St. Mary's City, Maryland.
The Spartans have totaled 453.5 points as they are in second place by 157.5 points. Unfortunately, the Spartans are 136.5 points as first place Mary Washington is running away with the championship. Salisbury is third followed by St. Mary's (250.5 points), Frostburg State (208 points) and Marymount (165 points).
The Spartans got two more champions during Saturday's action. Freshman Keven Stahl picked up his second individual win of the championship as he was victorious in the 400 IM. Senior Morgan Schreiber earned his individual win in the 100 backstroke. The win for Schreiber is his fourth straight 100 backstroke CAC championship.

The Spartans conclude the 2018 championships on Sunday with preliminaries starting at 10:00 and finals at 4:30 pm. Tomorrow, the events are slated to be the 1650 free, the 100 IM, the 200 backstroke, the 100 freestyle, the 200 breaststroke, the 200 butterfly, and the 400 free relay.
