Spartan Men Win Fifth Straight with Victory at Marymount

ARLINGTON, VA – The York College men's swim team stayed hot as they won their fifth straight dual meet with a 147-54 win at Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia on Saturday. The Spartans improve to 4-0 in the Capital Athletic Conference with the victory.

Freshman Keven Stahl picked up his 18th and 19th individual wins of the season with victories in the 200 freestyle and the 100 butterfly … sophomore Greg Williams picked up two wins for the second meet in a row as he was victorious in the 1000 freestyle and the 100 backstroke … Williams now has four wins for the year … sophomore Jesse Tate earned his tenth win of the year as he is now tied with senior Morgan Schreiber for second on the team … sophomore Glaucio Silva earned his third win of the year as he was victorious in the 100 IM … Tyler Maggio earned his fourth individual win of the year as he won the 100 breaststroke … York won seven of the nine individual events and both of the relay races.

The Spartans conclude their 2017-18 regular season on Saturday, February 3 when the Green and White hosts Mary Washington in a Capital Athletic Conference meet. The meet is slated for a 1:00 pm start and will be preceded by York's 2018 Senior Day ceremonies.
