At the championships, Fulcher earned two individual wins (50 free and 100 backstroke), an individual second (200 backstroke) and was a member of three relay wins. He is the first swimmer in school history to earn the conference swimmer of the year award.

The Sunday finals began for the Spartans with a third place finish from sophomore Stephen Doemland (Etters, Pa./Red Land) in the 1650 free. Doemland, who had a very solid championship weekend, touched the wall in a school-record time of 17:13.08.

The Spartans return a bulk of their team next year but will lose Fulcher as he is the lone senior they will lose to graduation. The Spartans finished the dual meet season with a mark of 9-2. During Fulcher’s four years in the Spartan pool, York finished with a dual meet mark of 34-5 and a pair of CAC runner-up finishes.
