Jim Mustard enters his 11th season as York’s goalkeeper coach. Mustard has made a huge impact in on the program during his tenure on the Spartan bench.
 
Under his tutelage, Spartan netminders only allowed three goals during the 2008 campaign, one of the best marks in Division III history, while nabbing 17 total shutouts. In 2009, York's goalkeepers sported an outstanding goals against average of 0.50 while totaling six shutouts. The 2012 campaign was another stellar defensive effort for York as the Green and White boasted a 0.63 goals against average and 12 shutouts. The 2014 season was much of the same as York notched a 0.60 goals against average with 14 goals allowed in 23 games with 14 shutouts. Spartan keepers allowed 20 goals in 19 games in 2015 for a 1.02 goals against average. In 2017, the Spartan keepers allowed 1.18  goals a game with four shutouts in 19 games. 
 
During his time with the Spartans, Mustard's charges have allowed just 180 goals in 233 games covering 21837.:11 of game action, good for a goals against average of 0.77. The Spartans have notched 112 shutouts during those 233 games. 
 
In addition to his coaching duties with the Spartan squad, Mustard serves as the Director of Athletics & Facilities at nearby York Country Day School while he is also the head girls goalkeeper coach for the Maryland Olympic Development program, the Region 1 ODP program, and a national goalkeeper staff instructor for the United Soccer Coaches (NSCAA). Prior to serving with the Green and White, Mustard was the Millersville University goalkeeper coach. Mustard also holds a USSF "B" coaching license and NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma with distinguished pass.
 
Mustard resides in York with his daughter Kaylee.
