    DOVER, DEL. – The York College men’s soccer team dropped a Capital Athletic Conference contest to Wesley College 3-1 on the road on Wednesday night. Freshman Zion Friday scored York’s lone goal in the second half, but the Spartans put just three of their 19 shots on goal.

    SALISBURY, MD. – The York College men’s soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw at Salisbury University in Capital Athletic Conference play on Sunday. Chris Hobbs scored the lone goal in the first half, lifting the Spartans ahead, but a late goal forced two scoreless periods of overtime. Freshman Billy Bridegum made 11 saves in the tie, matching the program record for saves in a game.

    YORK, PA – The York College men’s soccer team created numerous chances before finally putting away Frostburg State University 2-1 on a goal from Chris Hobbs with just 34 seconds remaining in Capital Athletic Conference action on Wednesday at Graham Field. The Spartans have now won three of their last four, outscoring their opponents 11-4 in that stretch.

Senior Joel Teston added his first goal of the season for the Spartans, who have now scored nine in their last two games.
