York College senior forward Antonio Bua (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) was named the Capital Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference for the week ending September 16.
Bua is the second Spartan to earn the CAC Offensive Player the Week award as freshman Brendan Saberton (Wilmington, Del./Salesianum) earned the award on September 3.
Bua led the Spartans to a 1-0-1 week including a victory in their conference opening contest at Wesley. In the 4-1 win over the Wolverines, Bua tallied two goals including the game winner to lift the Spartans to the victory.
Bua leads the 19th-ranked Spartans in scoring with eight points on four goals.
For his career, Bua has 22 goals and 10 assists for 54 points in 73 career games. He has eight game-winning goals for the Green and White.
Bua is a Business Administration major and is the son of Gaetano and Angela Bua.
