2012: Opens his junior season with the Spartan side . . . should be more comfortable this year having more experience under his belt . . . possesses good size for the college game . . . will look to push for minutes this season.

2011: Appeared in eight games this season . . . scored one goal for two points . . . took one shot and scored during the Sep. 11 game against McDaniel.

2010: Appeared in five contests for the Green and White during his rookie year . . . recorded one shot on the season . . . part of York's fifth Capital Athletic Conference Tournament championship and sixth straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

Personal: Is a computer information systems major . . . the son of Joseph and Jackie Hower . . . born on April 18, 1991 . . . played club soccer for Orange County Kings . . . club team was CIF champions . . . top scorer on club team . . . high school team ranked #2 in nation, #1 in county . . . names Dennis Bergkamp as the person he most admires because “of his cool head under pressure” . . . hobbies include paintball, computers, and gaming . . . chose York because of ”soccer and academics" . . . lists his most significant athletic achievement as “winning the CIF championship and being named top scorer for that club season” . . . his most memorable athletic moment at York is winning the 2010 CAC Tournament and getting into the NCAA Tournament . . . after graduation he plans on working with soccer.
