country … made the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight
season … Spartans finished the year with an undefeated
18-0-2 record.
2007: Served the program as a manager
… part of a Spartan squad advanced to their third
consecutive NCAA Tournament and second-straight Elite Eight berth
… York tied a program record with 21 victories, finishing
the year at 21-3-1.
Personal: Is a secondary education –
social studies and history major … is the son of William and
Elizabeth Bauer … played club soccer for Jersey United
… club team was State Cup champions in 2004 … owns a
3.63 cumulative GPA … made the Dean’s List each of the
previous five semesters … was a two-year varsity
starter in high school … lists his grandfather as the person
he most admires … hobbies include working out, running, and
reading … favorite athlete is Derek Jeter … chose
York because of its small size and education program … most
significant athletic achievement is “being a member of three
York men’s soccer teams that made it to the NCAAs”
