2010: Begins his junior season as one of the
Green and White’s top defenders … has improved
each season since coming to campus … combines quality
individual skill with a sound understanding of the game …

2009: Played in 19 of York’s 23 games
… started nine contests including eight of his last nine
games … became a defensive stalwart along the right side of
the Spartan back … scored the insurance tally, his first
collegiate goal, against eventual national champion Messiah in
York’s 2-0 triumph on October 7 … recorded an assist
in the Spartans’ 4-1 win over Mary Washington in the Capital
Athletic Conference Tournament … helped the Spartans to
their fourth CAC Tournament championship … was part of
York’s fifth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament.
2008: Appeared in 12 games for the Spartans,
drawing three starts … first career start came on October 1
in York’s 8-0 win over CAC foe Gallaudet … also
started in the CAC tournament against Wesley, a 0-0 draw …
Spartans only allowed one goal during games in which he played
… registered four shots, putting two on-target … part
of a squad that posted an 18-game winning streak during the regular
season … ranked as high as #2 in the country … made
the NCAA Tournament for the fourth straight season …
Spartans finished the year with an undefeated 18-0-2 record.
2007: Served the program as a manager while
rehabilitating from an injury … part of a Spartan squad
advanced to their third consecutive NCAA Tournament and
second-straight Elite Eight berth … York tied a program
record with 21 victories, finishing the year at 21-3-1.
Personal: Is a business administration major,
working toward an MBA, with minors in marketing and finance
… is the son of Dave and Carole Stromberg … born on
June 5, 1989 … played club soccer for the Baltimore Bays
… was a highly decorated prep athlete … was a
three-time first-team all-conference choice … was a two-time
all-state selection … was a first-team all-metro choice
… was named the UCBAC Player-of-the-Year as a high school
