Spartans Ranked 10th in NSCAA Preseason Poll

YORK, PA – Heading into the 2009 season, the York College men’s soccer team has been ranked 10th in the country by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

The NSCAA rankings, which are based off of last season’s final poll, include five teams with whom the Spartans will square off with during the 2009 campaign. York will face reigning National Champion Messiah, Johns Hopkins, Christopher Newport, Stevens, and N.C. Wesleyan at various points throughout the year as York sports a traditionally strong schedule.

During the 2008 season the Green and White posted a spectacular 18-0-2 record, including a flawless 18-0 run through the regular season.
