YORK, PA-The York College
athletic department has established the ticket policy for the
Spartan men’s soccer first and second round NCAA Tournament
matches on Saturday, November 14 and Sunday, November 15. The
Spartans face Cazenovia at 11:00 am on Saturday followed by Amherst
and Salem State squaring off in the other first round match on
Saturday at 1:30 pm. The two first round winners will play on
Sunday at 1:00 pm.
The NCAA has established ticket prices for all
tournament matches. Adults (18 to 59) are $6.00 while senior
citizens (60 and up), York College students with a valid ID, and
children ages 13 through 18 are $3.00. Children ages 3 through 12
are $2.00 while children under 3 are free. Saturday’s tickets
are good for both contests while Sunday’s match requires a
separate ticket.
As the York College athletic department has
done in the past, the first 200 York College students with ID are
free, compliments of the athletic department. There will be two
days of presale when tickets may be purchased prior to Saturday.
Tickets will be on sale on Thursday, November 12 and Friday,
November 13 at the front desk of the Grumbacher Sport & Fitness
Center. The tickets will be available from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
on both days. The gates will open one hour prior to the start of
the first contest on both Saturday and Sunday for those who did not
buy presale tickets. Presale tickets for Sunday will be available
Saturday evening at the front desk of the Grumbacher Center from
6:00 to 8:00 pm.
York College students wishing to get one of the
200 free tickets must show their ID and they are allowed just one
ticket per ID. Once those 200 tickets are exhausted, students will
need to purchase tickets at the $3.00 face value. The York College
student tickets may be picked up in person only.
